Chartering a helicopter for Glastonbury Festival

There are actually two helipad sites for Glastonbury. The main one is called Windinglake, situated on a farm in nearby Pilton, and it’s a very short shuttle ride of less than 1km from the festival site once you’ve landed. The other one – if you want to be really posh – is at Camp Kerala, and this one’s for the exclusive use of Camp Kerala customers. Camp Kerala is marketed as “the original, leading luxury ‘accommodation under canvas’ brand on the planet”, and it’s the place to stay if you’re looking for something rather more luxurious than a bog-standard tent in a sea of other tents in a sea of mud. Vogue even called it “the caviar of festival accommodation”, so you know you’re in for a treat.

Skip the traffic for Glastonbury

While we can theoretically pick you up from just about anywhere, Bristol Airport makes the perfect shuttle location if you’re planning to charter a helicopter to Glastonbury. At just 10 minutes’ flight time, you’ll be enjoying a glass of cold local cider by the Pyramid Stage in no time. The perfect start to your time at Glasto!

These days, with traffic typically being a bigger issue when festival-goers make a mass exodus on Monday morning, you’ll find that being able to hop in a helicopter back to Bristol Airport saves you a whole world of traffic misery.
